At no time during the year have the Directors, their associates or any
shareholder of the Company (which to the knowledge of the Directors owns
more than 5% of the Company’s share capital) had any interest in these major
customers or suppliers.
Financial Statements
The profit of the Group for the year ended 31 December 2016 and the state of
the Company’s and the Group’s affairs at that date are set out in the financial
statements on Pages 79 to 150.
Recommended Dividend
An interim dividend of HK 2.4 cents per share (2015: interim dividend of HK 3.6
cents per share) was paid on 6 October 2016.
The Directors now recommend the payment of a final dividend of HK 6.3 cents
per share (2015: final dividend of HK 5.1 cents per share) for the year ended
31 December 2016. The proposed dividend is expected to be paid on or about
31 May 2017 to qualified shareholders subject to shareholders’ approval at the
forthcoming AGM.
Property, Plant and Equipment
Movements in property, plant and equipment during the year are set out in
Note 14
to the “Notes to the Financial Statements”.
