Directors’ Report 董事會報告書 75 二零一八年年報 貿易通電子貿易有限公司 The Directors have pleasure in submitting their Annual Report together with the audited financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2018. Principal Place of Business The Company is a company incorporated and domiciled in Hong Kong and has its registered office and principal place of business at 11th and 12th Floors, Tower B, Regent Centre, 63 Wo Yi Hop Road, Kwai Chung, Hong Kong. Principal Activity The principal activity of the Company is the provision of Government Electronic Trading Services (“GETS”) for processing certain official trade- related documents. Leveraging its core competence, the Company has diversified its business into other areas including supply chain solutions, identity management solutions and payment technology solutions, some of which being operated by the Company’s subsidiaries. The principal activities and other particulars of the Company’s subsidiaries are set out in Note 15 to the “Notes to the Financial Statements”. Business Review A fair review of the business of the Group during the year, a discussion on the Group’s future business development and possible risks and uncertainties that the Group may be facing are set out in the sections headed “Chairman’s Statement” and “Management Discussion and Analysis” and these sections form part of this Directors’ Report. The Group’s financial risks are shown in Note 26 to the sections headed “Notes to the Financial Statements”. An analysis of the Group’s performance during the year using financial key performance indicators can be found throughout this Annual Report. The Board believes that a strict compliance with the applicable laws and regulations is pivotal to the success of the Company.
